At Berkeley National Lab, the EH&S Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced accelerator health physicist (requisition number 20517). Operating under the guidance and direction of the Accelerator Physics Technical Lead, the incumbent in this position provides scientific support in the area of radiation transport calculations for accelerator design and safety analysis problems. Additional responsibilities include assistance providing operational health physics services for accelerators and other radiation-producing machines at Berkeley Lab.
There are two classification levels for this position: Health Physicist 2 (H10.2) and Health Physicist 3 (H10.3). Classification will be determined by the demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities of the selected candidate.
