I am interested in putting together a discussion group to consider the impact of the draft American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard, N43.1, "Radiation Safety for the Design and Operation of Particle Accelerators." The draft is currently out for comment. In addition, with the impending regulation of accelerators by the Nuclear Regulatory Commisssion (NRC), a discussion group might also consider ways to foster communication between the NRC and its licensees.
