Emergency Preparedness in the News

Emergency preparedness at nuclear power plants has always been a newsworthy topic. This presentation will outline current activities in emergency preparedness and incident response that have garnered public interest such as the validity of the emergency preparedness planning basis; security; offsite response organizations; evacuation time estimates; new reactor licensing; potassium iodide, evacuation and sheltering.
