Monterey Institute Releases "Dirty Bomb" Report

The Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) released a report on "Commercial Radioactive Sources: Surveying the Security Risks" on January 16. A PDF copy of this report can be found at the MIIS Web site. Part of a study titled "The Faces of Terrorism," this report concludes that securing commercial radioactive sources against use in terrorist attacks is difficult, but not impossible.
