HPS Comments on Draft ICRP 2005 Recommendations

The Health Physics Society (HPS) has provided comments to the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) on its Draft 2005 Recommendations, which have been available for consultation and public input. The HPS comments were compiled by Kenneth Kase, Past President and Chair of the Scientific and Public Issues Committee, from several HPS members, the Legislation and Regulation Committee, the Decommissioning Section, and the Power Reactor Section. The final comments were approved by the Scientific and Public Issues Committee.

Comments submitted to the ICRP on the Draft 2005 Recommendations, which must be submitted by December 31, 2004, can be viewed on the ICRP Web site.
