What are the issues reviewed and outcomes in the BEIR V summary statement?
A
I am not able to find the Executive Summary of the Committee on the Biological Effects of Ionizing Radiations, National Research Council Report, Health Effects of Exposure to Low Levels of Ionizing Radiation, BEIR V, on the National Academies Website. If you send me your address I can send you a copy of the Executive Summary which should answer your question. I will also send you information for ordering the full document if you wish.
You might be interested in knowing that there is a committee currently working on an update of BEIR V. For information about the BEIR VII committee, the scope of the report, and a summary of the committee's meetings go to the National Research Council/National Academies website.
