What is the effect of UVA (320-400nm) on pregnancy?
A
UV radiation does not penetrate the skin sufficiently to have an effect on the developing fetus. It is true that UV can effect DNA, but in the case of a fetus the tissue is too deep in the body for exposure consideration.
