I am considering installing a home alarm system. I am concerned about
the radiofrequency that is used. Can someone inform me about the amount
of radiation emitted from such devices throughout the house, and
especially how this relates to doses received by small children?

Don't worry. The levels of radiofrequency radiation emitted by such
devices are quite low and do not present a hazard to you or your
children.
