What is the definition of radioresponsive?

According to Dorland's Medical Dictionary, radioresponsive refers to "reacting favorably to radiation." It is a term that is commonly used in radiation therapy. A tumor (cancer) that shrinks or disappears following radiation therapy treatment would be considered radioresponsive. Many tumors in the head and neck region are radioresponsive. Certain brain tumors are not radioresponsive.
